Shoppers at the Forrest Chase shopping precinct in Perth City were encouraged to snap on their smartphones whatever they wanted for Christmas at any of the stores and then hashtag the pics #alliwantFC on social media. Everyday, Forrest Chase awarded one lucky shopper the gift idea they snapped. And the person’s friends also got hints about what to buy! The hashtags were aggregated live on a special campaign site, alliwantFC.com, scrolling and updating in real time, and also through a live mega-screen positioned in the Murray Street Mall adding a lot of interest.
